Required Skills

Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We look for effective leaders who have strong numerical literacy. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but candidates with alternative qualifications and over five (5) years of experience are encouraged to apply. We also look for:

Strong communication skills and IT fluency

Excellent written and oral communication skills preferably being fluent in English and at least one other language

Creativity and problem solving skills

In-depth knowledge of information systems and business processes (e.g. accounting, operations, management...)

Job Scope

Three key responsibilities include (1) identifying new opportunities for sales and partnerships, (2) pitching products and services and (3) building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.  
Typical tasks performed by our Business Development Executives:

Researching organisations and individuals online (e.g. on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiativesAttending conferences, meetings, and industry events
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
Developing quotes and proposals
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
Documentation and reporting to help improve global processes at BiTS
